5.) Farm on the Coast – Near Newport
Go out and take comfort in this Private Guest Suite in the barn at this small gentleman’s farm right on the coast of Rhode Island. The guest suite is a comfy, nice, quiet place to spend the evening. The farmhouse was developed back in 1941, during World War II, seen as a “model farm”. Two families that lived next door to the farm were worried about a potential shortage of food through the war and they concluded that it would be stupid not to create a little farm behind their summer homes. The current owners actually happen to own all ten of the original buildings, which include the barn, a large greenhouse, and the farmer’s cottage to which they have since renovated.
